Where will I pick up my vehicle?
At Almeria Airport, all our rentals are handled by Goldcar, who have a desk located directly inside the Arrivals Hall. After completing the paperwork and collecting your keys, it’s just a short walk to the airport car park where your vehicle will be waiting. The entire process is straightforward and quick, making it easy to get on the road without delays.
Driving on from the airport
Once you’ve picked up your hire car at Almeria Airport (LEI), you’ll have easy access to the stunning landscapes and beaches of the Costa de Almería. The airport connects directly to the AL-12, offering fast links to the A-7 motorway. The city of Almería is only 10 minutes (9 km) away, while popular resort areas such as Roquetas de Mar can be reached in around 30 minutes (37 km). Head northeast to Mojácar in about 50 minutes (75 km), or explore the dramatic scenery of Cabo de Gata–Níjar Natural Park, just 25 minutes (25 km) from the terminal. With your rental car, the region’s coastal towns, coves, and mountain villages are all within easy reach.
